Duty Manager - Russian/French Speaker

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a resort on the island of Mahé in Seychelles, is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join its team. You will oversee daily operations during your assigned shifts, act as a senior operational point of contact across departments and serve the resort's diverse international guests. Fluency in Russian or French is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving them satisfactorily
• Oversee all operational activities during shifts so that all departments run smoothly
• Manage and supervise staff, giving guidance, support and performance feedback
• Maintain compliance with resort policies, procedures and safety regulations
• Carry out regular walks and inspections of facilities, public areas and guest areas
• Serve Russian- or French-speaking guests personally and stay visible in the hotel, especially during peak times
• Coordinate between departments and handle emergencies with calm, decisive action
• Prepare detailed shift reports covering incidents, guest feedback and operational matters
• Ensure security protocols are followed and liaise with senior management on operational issues

Required profile

• At least 3 years as a Duty Manager in a 5-star luxury resort or similar hotel management role
• Fluency in Russian, French and English (spoken and written)
• Experience in a luxury, lifestyle, resort or high-volume hotel environment preferred
• Experience managing multilingual teams and guest relations/complaint handling
• Island life experience is required
