Senior Island Guide

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Island Guide to join the pre‑opening team of a luxury island resort in the Seychelles. This guest‑facing position blends intuitive hosting, destination storytelling, and operational oversight to deliver a seamless, memorable experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests from arrival to departure, providing warm, discreet, and anticipatory service.
• Welcome guests, deliver a personalised island orientation, and coordinate all activities and excursions such as snorkeling, diving, fishing, spa bookings, private dining, and wellness experiences.
• Accompany guests on selected activities, fostering meaningful connections with the destination, nature, and local culture.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to ensure villa presentation, amenities, minibar, and special requests meet expectations.
• Conduct regular villa checks, follow up on maintenance matters, and maintain accurate guest notes, daily logs, and handover reports.
• Promote resort experiences and upsell services in line with individual guest preferences.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a lodge, remote luxury island, or similar high‑end guest‑facing environment.
• Fluent in English plus at least two additional languages (e.g., French, German, Italian, Russian, Arabic).
• Warm, professional demeanor with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple guest requests simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Certification in diving, tour guiding, or lodge operations is a strong advantage; pre‑opening experience is also beneficial.
• Comfortable with 24/7 resort operations, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
